The Studio began as a homeschool project in the Fall of 1998. The vision of Jessica Plimpton, the school was founded at her father's church, The Rock. During its tenure there, The Studio began to grow into a full-fledged school of the arts under the direction of Darren Stevenson.

In May, 2001, The Studio moved to its present location at Trinity Christian Fellowship. During its 5 years here at Trinity, The Studio School of the Arts has grown from approximately 80 students to about 200, currently offering training in dance and drama.
